Proof of Concept

3D Printers are a rapid prototyping technology designed to create inexpensive models early in the product development process. Physical models produced on a Dimension 3D Printer allow everyone on the team to review design concepts. The low cost of use allows for several prototypes very early on in the design process, where changes and improvements are easy to implement. The ability to produce quick, inexpensive ABS models allows designs to be rapidly evaluated and improved upon – the end result being a better product. Designers also have the ability to model, compare, and communicate multiple concepts globally – customers, salespeople, and suppliers can collaborate early using physical models, avoiding costly changes later.
